My great uncle passed away this morning.
I never saw him a lot and I wasn't too close to him but it's still upsetting and frustrating to see two of my cousins so down.

That's the hardest part

George was rushed into a heart hospital yesterday because of on top of whatever he had and his dementure, he had a heart attack and the hospital couldn't wake him after. Luckily the doctors at the heart hospital managed to break through but
He was told he had 2 days at the most.

He knew he was dying anyway and had accepted that

But when my cousin Richard found out he broke down in work and just went hysterical.
His wife had to go get him and together they went to go see George.

And Laura (Rich's sister) is pregnant. She had to have tests to make sure she was healthy before she was allowed to say her goodbyes
just to make sure the stress wouldn't effect the baby badly.

She was allowed to go but Jesus, it was just so bad on the two.
Laura took a recording of the baby's heartbeat with her and that made George so happy. He was convinced it'll be a girl.

We were planning on driving down to go see the family and my parents wanted to say goodbye...
But he passed away this morning.

It's just so stressful because I just want to go and see my cousins and be there for them like they always manage to do for me.

I never even heard of Richard crying apart from when he had marriage complications and the dog he grew up with died.
He's such a big burly man too but hearing him sob like that down the phone...

Urgh.


At least we got some good news today.
Damien's waiting to start work at a nursing home.
He hasn't even worked a day...
And
They already plan on training him to be a manager.

He's so happy about it and I'm proud of him

I love it when he's over the moon.
